Special Event Series: Write Together with 起点传媒and the National Writing Project

We are navigating uncertain and stressful times. 起点传媒and the National Writing Project are longstanding partners and are pleased to announce a new collaboration in support of teachers.

起点传媒and the National Writing Project invite teachers to join this unique opportunity demonstrating how intentional writing can uplift teachers and their students during challenging periods and create meaningful change.

This series of workshops will provide you with the time and space to 鈥減ractice what you teach鈥 by centering yourself, employing strategies for writing with intention, and forging classroom connections.

Consider: What do we ask of the students in our classrooms? We urge them to become lifelong writers by using writing as a vehicle for expressing their hopes and dreams, deepening their thinking, reflecting on their learning, and connecting in community. Now ask yourself: How often do we as teachers use writing for the same reasons?

Throughout the series, you will:

  • experience the value of personal writing for deepening teaching practice;
  • employ concrete strategies for intentional writing;
  • reflect on workshop experiences and how to adapt new strategies in your classroom; and
  • leverage the principles and literacy practices of sustainable teaching to buoy your commitment to teaching in challenging times.

These webinars are open to all but registration is required.
