2024 African American Read-In: Celebrating Gloria Tibbs with Food for the Soul!
You are invited to the annual African American Read-In from the UMKC Libraries!聽Register to join us on on聽February 19, 2024 from 2:00-3:30 pm in Miller Nichols Library room 325, or join us virtually on Zoom.
The African American Read-In is a celebration of African American literature and literacy.聽Participate by reading excerpts from poetry, speeches, stories, songs, and other works created by African American authors and聽artists. Or, just come to listen, reflect, and enjoy the presentations.聽Join us on February 19th聽as a聽listener or a presenter!
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.聽Joining us on Zoom will not require a Zoom account.
