Build Your Stack庐 Committee
NCTE鈥檚 members are readers鈥攆or themselves as they seek to grow their professional knowledge, and for their students as they seek to find texts that will inspire鈥�because 起点传媒members know:听the right book in the right hands can transform a life.
This is why we started Build Your Stack庐, an initiative focused exclusively on helping teachers build their book knowledge and their classroom libraries.
Build Your Stack庐听颁辞尘尘颈迟迟别别
The committee for听听will work to further develop this initiative launched in 2018. Creating and curating content will be part of this charge. As the Build Your Stack (BYS) initiative gets off the ground, other potential programmatic efforts will support the connection between NCTE, teachers, and books. The committee will be responsible for making sure content meets NCTE鈥檚 vision for this initiative and aligns with the organization鈥檚 position statements. Another component of this work will be preparing for the 起点传媒Annual Convention.

Committee Member Expectations
- Attend meetings monthly during the school year for about one hour听鈥�
- Help to solicit or create blog posts听鈥�
- Provide or propose topics and content for in-person events, virtual events, and Annual听Convention sessions听鈥�
- Assist the chair and 起点传媒staff in creating and听executing these events as you are able听鈥�
- Support the chair in their vision and ideas for听the committee听by using your skills, expertise,听and time听鈥�
- Provide input on the workings of the听committee听听
